MACKAY - Margaret, Elizabeth, Jane and Wendy would like to thank all family, friends and neighbours for their loving support and kindness following the recent sad loss of Jimmy. Thank you for all the cards, flowers and messages. Thank you to Rev. Malcolm, Dunnett's Funeral Directors, Lorna Sinclair and St Peter's and St Andrew's Church and the Royal British Legion for their service. Finally, thank you to everyone who came to the service and generously donated to the sum of £810 in aid of the Thurso Ambulance Service.
GUNN Graham (Gunners) - Angela, Helen, Martin, Daniel and family would like to express their thankfulness to the many people who have and continue to support them in recent weeks. The assurance of prayer, cards, flowers, messages and other acts of kindness shown to them has been truly humbling. In particular, they would like to thank those who attended the Celebration of Life Service, Dunnett's Funeral Directors, Rev. David Malcolm, Flower Daze, Eun Na Mara Charters and the RNLI Lifeboat. Finally, thank you to those who contributed towards Thurso RNLI Lifeboat collection which now totals an amazing £1825.77.
MILLER - The family of the late Mary Miller, Kinlochy, would like to thank family and friends for all the kind wishes and sympathy after the sad loss of their dear mum. Grateful thanks to all staff in Caithness General for their care and compassion. Thanks to Rev. Andrew Barrie for a fitting service and Karen, Sinclair and all at Dunnett's Funeral Directors for their kindness and support. Thank you to the Nethercliffe for the catering. Finally, thank you to everyone who attended the service to wish Mary well on her final journey 'home' and raised £485 for Chest, Heart and Stroke.
FAIRWEATHER - The family of the late George J. Fairweather would like to thank all family and friends for all kindness and sympathy shown to them on their sad loss. Grateful thanks to Seaview Care Home who cared for dad with great kindness during his stay. Many thanks to Rev. D. Malcolm for a comforting service and to Dunnett's for their excellent services. Thanks to Buds 'n' Blooms for the beautiful flowers and also the Royal British Legion for the catering. A final thanks to all who paid their last respects at the graveside and donated generously towards Earl Haig Fund and British Heart Foundation.
BUTTRESS (Thurso/Whitehills) - Steven and Hilary would like to thank family, friends and neighbours for all their kind expressions of sympathy on the loss of their dear mum, Mary. Heartfelt thanks to Macmillan nurse, Shirley McLeod, for her care and compassion; celebrant, John Glen, for a very personal service in Thurso; Sinclair and everyone at Dunnett's Funeral Directors for their kindness and professionalism; David Urquhart, funeral director, Portsoy for coming north to take mum one last trip over the Ord home to her beloved Whitehills and to Murray Campbell for the fitting service in Whitehills. Finally, to the wonderful village of Whitehills for flying their flag at half mast in respect of our mum. 'Home at last.' £824 was raised in generous donations and will be passed on with great pride to Scrabster Fishermen's Mission.
MORE - The family of the late Robert Fraser More would like to thank all family and friends for the kindness and sympathy shown to them on their sad loss. Grateful thanks to Cairn Medical Practice and to everyone at Raigmore Hospital who did their very best for Robert. Special thanks to Halde Pottinger for a very fitting tribute, and to William T. Fraser and Son for their care and compassion with funeral arrangements. A final thank you to all who paid their last respects at Inverness and Wick, and donated so generously to Renal and Respiratory Units at Raigmore Hospital.

McBOYLE - Ishbel and the family of the late Fred McBoyle would like to express their gratitude for the overwhelming support and encouragement afforded them through prayer and sympathy messages of all kinds, from family, work colleagues and friends, both locally and from around the world. The nursing care given to Fred during his final ten weeks, both at Raigmore Hospital and, finally, at Highland Hospice was of superlative quality and caused him to give responsive smiles as long as he remained conscious. To Sanders and team of Clair Harper and Son, Funeral Directors, we cannot commend you enough for the speed and efficiency of all arrangements at such short notice. To Buds 'N' Blooms, Thurso and The Flower Patch, Wick, we say the floral tributes were a sight to behold. The conduction of the service and gospel message delivered by Mr Murray Graham in the church and at the graveside were a comfort indeed to sad but thankful hearts. Also the attendance of so very many friends and family, across large distances, at short notice and during the disrupted travel of our chaotic times was very touching. Finally, the catering of The Ulbster Arms Hotel, Halkirk was excellent and so cordially served, despite the intermittent arrival of family and friends. Thank you to all concerned and to God be the Glory. A total of £2000 was collected at the service for Highland Hospice.
CAMERON - Malcolm and family from Laidhay, Dunbeath would like to thank everyone for their kindness extended to them following the death of Elizabeth. A special thank you to Minster Heather Stewart for her comforting service, to Dunnett's Funeral Directors for their compassion and professionalism in handling all arrangements and the team at the Nethercliff Hotel. Lastly, many thanks to the overwhelming amount of people who attended the service at Dunbeath Church and kindly made donations to the Laidhay Museum Trust.

SINCLAIR - Peter, Louise and family of the late Helen are very grateful for all the kindnesses extended to them following their sad bereavement. AITKEN - Following the sad death of our beloved mother, Isobella, the Aitken family would like to extend their deepest thanks to the following people. Alannah and Ben Bremner for being good neighbours at such a distressing time; your help was greatly appreciated by us all. Sinclair's undertakers for your compassionate and efficient service in our time of need. The staff of the Rosebank wing; your care was tender and kind and it gives the family solace to know how well our mother was looked after. Rev. Heather Stewart and Ruth Ferguson for such an emphatic and comforting service which allowed us as a family to say goodbye to our adored mother with dignity and love. Lastly, many thanks to everyone who has expressed kind thoughts at this time. Your expressions of sympathy remain deeply consoling. The collection raised £250 for Cystic Fibrosis, so many thanks to all who contributed.

FALCONER - Evelyn and family would like to thank friends, family and neighbours for their kind expressions of sympathy received, in the way of cards, 'phone calls and flowers, following the sad loss of Ian. Grateful thanks to the wonderful carers, nurses and paramedics who treated Ian with so much tender loving care and immense dignity. Many thanks also to Shirley, the Macmillan nurse and all the doctors who treated Ian with the utmost respect. Sincere thanks to Karen and Sinclair of Dunnett's for their efficient, sensitive and compassionate support at such a difficult time. They thank Linda most warmly for her very uplifting and comforting service and Richard for his exceptional musical tribute to Ian. Thank you also to the Seaforth Club where everyone enjoyed soup and sandwiches provided by The Corner Cafe. Finally, sincere thanks to everyone who attended the service and/or the cemetery to pay their last respects. A total of £1114.35 was collected for the local branch of Macmillan Cancer Support.
