FARQUHAR - Carol, Murray and Emma wish to thank friends and family for their overwhelming support and kindness, through cards, flowers and baking, following the sudden loss of Alan. Also Linda Smith for such an uplifting service and Sanders and Malky for their guidance and professionalism at a difficult time for them as a family. Thanks to all who paid their last respects at the cemetery and for generous donations to the Rosebank Wing, Caithness General Hospital.
McLEAN - Donald, Raymond, Colin and Brian would like to thank all relatives, friends and neighbours for their comforting support after the loss of their mother, Jessie, a granny and great-granny. Special thanks to Helen and Brian for their care, also to Karen and Barbara. Thanks to the nursing staff of Rosebank and Bignold wards, Caithness General Hospital; also to Dunnett's for their care and professionalism and to Rev Dave Macartney for his comforting service. ADAMSON - The family of the late Dorothy wish to thank all relatives, friends and neighbours for the kind messages of sympathy and acts of kindness shown to them in their recent sad bereavement. Grateful thanks to the health professionals for their care and support of Dorothy in recent times, particularly the staff at the Princes Street Surgery, Thurso, and those in the Bignold Wing at Caithness General Hospital. HAM (Invergordon) - The family of the late Barbara would like to thank all relatives, friends and neighbours for their many kind expressions of sympathy and love received in so many ways following their recent sad loss. Special thanks to the Scottish Ambulance Service for their care and support. Sincere thanks to Rev. MORRICE - Following the interment of the ashes of the late Georgina (née Elder) Morrice, Marilyn and Audrey would like to thank family and friends for attending the ceremony. Special thanks to Colin Mackay for his service at the graveside and to the Queen's Hotel, Wick for the splendid refreshments. A lovely lady has taken her last journey.
BINGHAM (Strathy) - John, Harvey, Michael, Valerie and family would like to thank all relatives, friends and neighbours for their support, many kind expressions of sympathy and comforting insights into how much Beverly was loved by all. Grateful thanks to Reverend Dave Macartney for a very fitting service in Strathy Church and cemetery; Dunnett's for their helpful and efficient handling of funeral arrangements and to all who braved a bitterly cold wind and joined the family to pay their last respects in Strathy Cemetery. Special thanks must go to the local community care team who did so much to ensure Bev was well cared for and comfortable in her own home during her final weeks. Finally, thank you for all donations. At Bev's request these will be shared between the local care team and Plan UK, a charity Bev has supported for many years.
MACKAY - Jessie, Karen, Craig and James would like to say thank you for the overwhelming love and support after the loss of Jimmy, beloved husband, father, papa and brother. Thank you to all who sent flowers, baking and cards with such lovely messages and memories of Jimmy. Special thanks to Dunnett's for such care and professionalism, Pastor Mark for leading a very moving service, Reverend Malcolm for all his assistance and Buds 'n' Blooms for beautiful flowers. We would also like to thank the ambulance crew, also the nursing staff in both Caithness General and Dunbar Hospitals for taking such care of Jimmy. The collection will be shared between the Fishermen's Mission and the Rosebank wing.
BAILLIE - The family of the late Alexander Baillie (Alex) would like to thank all relatives, friends and neighbours who sent cards and flowers; also Dunnett's for all funeral arrangements, Lynsey Morrison for her comforting humanist service and all carers and nurses for their great care. Finally, thank you all who donated £115 for the stroke and dementia unit in Caithness General Hospital.
MILL - The family would like to express their heartfelt thanks to all those who have given support in so many ways since the loss of Alexander. A generous sum of money has been collected and will be used towards supporting mental health in the community.

GROAT - The family of the late John Groat would like to thank all friends for their support and sympathy at this sad time. Thank you to Dunnett's Funeral Directors for all the funeral arrangements. Grateful thanks go to all the carers who looked after John these last few years and a huge thank you to the staff of Bayview Care Home who made his last months so comfortable. DAVIDSON - The family and Nicola would like to thank all their family, friends and colleagues for the heartfelt sympathy and support shown by way of calls, cards, flowers and other kind gestures after the devastating loss of Ryan. We would also like to thank all the healthcare professionals who helped care for Ryan throughout his illness, with a very special thank you to the Intensive Care Unit and Oncology Ward at Raigmore Hospital. Our sincere thanks to the Rev. David Malcolm, all at Dunnett's Funeral Directors, the Boy Andrew crew, local lifeboat crews, as well as the other emergency crews and everyone else who turned out on the day of the funeral, giving Ryan such a touching and unique send off. Finally, thank you to all who donated to Ryan's memorial collection; we were overwhelmed by the generosity shown and a total of £33,165 was raised which will be shared between the Fishermen's Mission and Thurso RNLI.
BUDGE -The family of the late David Budge, who tragically lost his life at Scrabster Harbour, wish to thank everyone who has called, brought flowers and sent cards. Your kindness is very much appreciated. Most sincere thanks to the Thurso lifeboat, coastguards, helicopters and police in their search. Thanks too, to John Corse & Sons for their professional service and guidance, and to Rev Susan Kirkbride for her lovely words. A final heartfelt thanks to those who paid their respects at the roadside.
