MILL - The family would like to express their heartfelt thanks to all those who have given support in so many ways since the loss of Alexander. Sincere thanks to Sinclair and the staff at Dunnett's Funeral Directors and to celebrant Alan Smurthwaite for his service. A generous sum of money has been collected and will be used towards supporting mental health in the community.
MACKAY - The family of the late Elizabeth (Betty) Mackay would like to thank all relatives, friends and neighbours for their kind expressions of sympathy following the sudden loss of Betty. They would like to thank the Princes Street Surgery, the paramedics and Caithness General Hospital for their care and also the Care at Home team for their ongoing care and support. MACKAY - The family of the late Donald Mackay (Don) would like to thank everyone who sent cards and flowers, for phone calls, messages and emails, on the passing of their beloved brother Don. Special thanks to Linda Smith for her comforting humanist service, Clair Harper Funeral Directors for their efficient funeral arrangements, Mackays Hotel for providing the refreshments, The Flower Patch for the beautiful floral arrangements and Caithness General Hospital, Rosebank Wing. The collection for the Rosebank Wing amounted to £292. Your kindness was very much appreciated by all the family.
GROAT - The family of the late John Groat would like to thank all friends for their support and sympathy at this sad time. Thank you to Dunnett's Funeral Directors for all the funeral arrangements. Special thanks to Colin Mackay of the Fishermen's Mission for returning to conduct a very personal service. Grateful thanks go to all the carers who looked after John these last few years and a huge thank you to the staff of Bayview Care Home who made his last months so comfortable. CORMACK - David, Brian, Linda, Karen and families wish to thank everyone for the kind expressions of sympathy received following the recent sad loss of their father, Alexander (Derry). Sincere gratitude and thanks to Rev. Matt Alexander for his comforting service and spiritual support and to all at Clair Harper & Son for their efficient and compassionate handling of arrangements. A very grateful and heartfelt thank you to all staff at the Town and County hospital for caring so compassionately and diligently for our father during his time in your care and for the support given to us. DAVIDSON - The family and Nicola would like to thank all their family, friends and colleagues for the heartfelt sympathy and support shown by way of calls, cards, flowers and other kind gestures after the devastating loss of Ryan. We would also like to thank all the healthcare professionals who helped care for Ryan throughout his illness, with a very special thank you to the Intensive Care Unit and Oncology Ward at Raigmore Hospital. Our sincere thanks to the Rev. David Malcolm, all at Dunnett's Funeral Directors, the Boy Andrew crew, local lifeboat crews, as well as the other emergency crews and everyone else who turned out on the day of the funeral, giving Ryan such a touching and unique send off. Finally, thank you to all who donated to Ryan's memorial collection; we were overwhelmed by the generosity shown and a total of £33,165 was raised which will be shared between the Fishermen's Mission and Thurso RNLI.
BUDGE -The family of the late David Budge, who tragically lost his life at Scrabster Harbour, wish to thank everyone who has called, brought flowers and sent cards. Your kindness is very much appreciated. Most sincere thanks to the Thurso lifeboat, coastguards, helicopters and police in their search. Thanks too, to John Corse & Sons for their professional service and guidance, and to Rev Susan Kirkbride for her lovely words. A final heartfelt thanks to those who paid their respects at the roadside.
WARES - Hugh, Linda and Scott would like to thank everyone for their cards, flowers and kind wishes following the sad loss of Jamie. GANSON - Stewart, Mari-Ann, Kirstin and all the family of Fiona (née MacIver) wish to thank everyone for their kindness with cards, gifts, flowers, cooking and support. Thank you to Jim Morrison for a beautiful service and to Karen from Dunnett's Funeral Directors for all her help. Thank you to all of those who stood outside the church and came to the graveside to pay their respects. The family are indebted to the staff in Ward 5a at Raigmore Hospital who cared for Fiona so amazingly. We give thanks for the donations to Ward 5a which have amounted to over £5000. We are overwhelmed by all the support shown in donations and presence at the funeral, which showed just how many people Fiona was loved by.

They also wish to thank the doctors and nursing staff at Ward 2C, Raigmore Hospital. Special thanks to Glynis Woodhead, celebrant, for her support and a fitting service. HARROLD - Nicola, Dana and Grant wish to say a massive thank you to all relations and friends near and far, for their kind expressions of sympathy through cards, letters, phone calls, messages, flowers and gifts. We were totally overwhelmed by everyone's kindness and concern after the sudden and sad loss of Peter. Special thanks to Brian and John, undertakers, for their professional help during this difficult time (covid), Rev. Lyall Rennie for the comforting graveside service and Willie Watt's affectionate speech. To all the pallbearers and those who travelled to be at roadside stops and Gills Pier. The travellers who stood outside the walls of the cemetery. Thanks to everyone who donated, the collection raised a whopping £950, which will go to the Burray Football Club. A surreal, but proud day, for a lovely man, who will be in our hearts forever.
INGLIS - Craig wishes to thank all relatives, friends and neighbours for the kind expressions of sympathy and practical help extended to him following the death of his mum, Jennifer.
