SWANSON - Robert, Trish and the family would like to thank everyone for their kind words, sympathy, cards and flowers on the sad loss of their dad, Peter (Patty). A special thanks to all at Pentland View Care Home and everyone involved in Dad's care over the last year. Thank you to Lindsay Morrison for her touching tribute, all at Dunnett's Funeral Directors for their guidance and arrangements and to the Ulbster Arms Hotel for refreshments. Finally, a sincere thanks to all who donated towards the R.N.L.I and Scrabster Coastguards. A total of £340.00 was donated.
CONNOR - The family of the late Donald Connor would like to thank Rev. John Nugent and those who attended the funeral and graveside on 29th March and kindly donated to the collection in aid of Caithness Heart Support Group.
MILLER - David, Michael and family would like thank everyone for their kind expressions of sympathy on the sad loss of their dad, Callum. ALLAN - We, the family of the late David Allan, Reiss, wish to convey our thanks and appreciation to all those who came to pay their respects at the graveside and met with us afterwards. Thank you to everyone who called and sent cards, baking and beautiful flowers; all of these thoughtful gestures helped us at such a heartbreaking time. Sanders and his team at Sinclair Funeral Directors were efficient, dignified and guided the arrangements with professionalism second to none. A special thank you to Thomas Mackay and Kenny Duncan (Scottish Ambulance Service) who stepped in to get David home from Inverness. Also huge thanks to cousin Kay Crombie and Lorin for quickly moving forward arrangements for home. Thanks to Lindsay Morrison for respectfully delivering the service according to our wishes. The sum of £450 was raised for Caithness Health Action Team.
FARQUHAR - We, Georgia and family, would like to acknowledge the many expressions of sympathy and gestures of kindness shown to us following our recent sad loss of Andrew (Drewie). We would like to offer our heartfelt thanks to the many family, friends and neighbours who attended the funeral service and interment and who provided emotional and practical support. To those who telephoned, sent floral tributes, cards and messages of condolence, we are truly grateful. A special word of thanks must go to all the nursing staff of the Caithness General Hospital, Rosebank Wing, for their unwavering support and kindness throughout; Sanders and staff of Clair Harper & Son Funeral Directors for their sensitive and thoroughly professional handling of arrangements; Linda Smith, the humanist, for her truly wonderful service and the Norseman Hotel who provided refreshments after the service to everyone in attendance. A collection for the Rosebank Wing of Caithness General Hospital raised £1072.
WARES - The family of the late Sinclair Wares would like to thank everyone for their kind expressions of sympathy following their very sad loss. Sincere thanks to medical staff in the ambulance service and hospital. Grateful thanks to Rev. MACDONALD (Robert William) - Robbie's family would like to express their sincere thanks to everyone who attended Robbie's funeral and wake; to the many friends who stood out in the cold at the cemetery and along the procession route (past Millbank Road). They would also like to say thank you for all the lovely flowers, cards and expressions of sympathy. MACKAY - Dougie, Graeme, Anson and all the family would like to thank everyone for their kind expressions of sympathy and their generosity.
