MACKAY - Liz, David and Donna wish to thank everyone for the many kind expressions of sympathy received following the sad loss of Alan (Bobo). Special thanks for the support received from Thurso and Halkirk Medical Practice and Macmillan. Thanks also to Alan Smurthwaite for the lovely service, Dunnett's Funeral Directors for their guidance and professionalism and Halkirk Football Club for their tribute at the graveside. A total of £1090 was donated to Macmillan Cancer Support.
MURRAY - Fiona, Margaret and family wish to thank all relatives, friends and neighbours for the many warm and thoughtful expressions of sympathy extended to them by acts of kindness, phone calls, flowers and the many cards, following the sad loss of Catherine. The last few years of Catherine's life were much enhanced by the care from her outstanding GP, Dr Wybrew, the wonderful community nurses and staff in the Princes Street Practice, from Caithness General, Raigmore and Aberdeen Royal Infirmary. This, together with the expert support of her kind Macmillan nurse and lovely carers, helped give her an additional three years, which she lived to the full. The family would like to give heartfelt thanks to each and every one of them and also to Gillian Smith who gave Catherine great support throughout her illness. Many thanks also to Linda Smith for conducting the service with so much compassion and to Dunnett's, who arranged the funeral with the utmost professionalism. As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as an expression of our gratitude. Catherine was dearly loved, and will be remembered for her warmth and friendship. We will miss her.
MILLER - Carole and Graham would like to thank family, friends and neighbours for the kind expressions of sympathy shown to them by way of cards, flowers, messages and telephone calls following the recent death of Margaret. Thank you to the staff of Caithness General Hospital and also a special thank you to the nurses of the Town and County Hospital who cared for Margaret during the final weeks of her life. Thanks also go to Clair Harper and Son Funeral Directors for their professional and efficient handling of arrangements.
WARES - Nancy and family would like to thank all relatives, friends and neighbours for cards, phone calls, flowers and support following the sad loss of Ian. Finally, from the bottom of our hearts we thank everyone who lined the road and paid their respects as his two proud grandsons took him one last time on his old Massey and bale trailer to Corsback Cemetery.
