DICKSON - The family of the late Aileen Dickson would like to sincerely thank all family and friends for the many expressions of kindness and sympathy following their sad loss. Thanking the ambulance crew, doctors and nurses at Caithness General Hospital for Aileen's care immediately prior to her passing. Special thanks to Rev. David Malcolm for his comforting and fitting service and to all at Dunnett's Funeral Directors for their caring and professional handling of the funeral arrangements. Thanks also to the Pentland Hotel for the refreshments and to Buds 'n' Blooms for supplying the beautiful flowers. Above all, a heartfelt thank you to everyone who was able to attend on the day and to those who sent donations. The sum of £720 was raised for the Caithness Stroke Group. Finally, we owe a huge debt of gratitude to everyone who helped Aileen over the last few challenging years, including those we know directly: her coffee morning pals at the Pentland, her close neighbours, friends at the Stroke Group, and members of the West Church congregation. Equally, we acknowledge those unsung helpers from the wider Thurso community, all of whom ensured Aileen remained fully at the heart of that community in her later years. Thank you, one and all.
