DAVIS - Tina and Don Sutherland and family of the late George Davis would like to thank everyone who attended the funeral service of George, and for all their kindness and support both throughout George's life and following his passing. Heartfelt thanks to the doctors and nurses of Caithness General Hospital and to all the staff, past and present, of Key Housing and Seaview House Care Home for their outstanding commitment and professionalism over George's lifetime. Special thanks to Reverend Heather Stewart for her comforting and personal funeral service, and to Dunnett's Funeral Directors for their calm efficiency and attention to detail at a very stressful time. Donations amounting to £200 were also generously received and will be split between MS Society and Enable (not Mencap as previously stated) charities. The refreshments supplied by Pentland Hotel were superb after the funeral service. Everything went smoothly as George said his last farewells and I'm sure he enjoyed all the love and affection flowing out towards him. Rest in peace George, knowing that your race has been truly won.
