MACLEOD - Heather, Laura, Kevin and Ann wish to thank all family, friends, neighbours and work colleagues for their kindness, support, cards, flowers, calls and messages following the sudden passing of their beloved dad, grandad and partner, Hugh Macleod. Special thanks to the emergency services who attended to Hughie and to Eric and Rosemary Cameron for their efforts at the time of Hughie's passing and for their continued friendship and support to the family. David Malcolm for conducting a lovely heartfelt service; Sinclair Dunnett and all staff at Dunnett's Funeral Directors for the care, respect and dignity shown at this sad time; the Strathy Hall Community for the refreshments and hospitality provided following the funeral service; Davie and friends for ensuring Hughie could make one final visit to the shore at Portskerra; Carol- Anne Farquhar for piping Hughie on his last journey from Strathy Church and the members past and present of the Dounreay Fire Service who carried Hughie to his final place of rest. Thanks to all who paid their last respects at Strathy church and churchyard. To date £1100 has been raised for local charities.
