Success was sweet for Alex Henderson in the latest of Thurso Camera Club’s weekly photo challenges as she paid a photographic tribute to frontline health workers.

The subject for week five of the weekly contest was "sweets" and Alex devised a composition which used confectionery and sugar to create a rainbow and a message saying "Thank you NHS".

Neil Buchan's entry also gave recognition to the NHS, and he was placed second equal with Jane Foster who constructed a scene with Lego figures mining for sweets.

The top six were: 1 Alex Henderson, Real life superheroes; 2 (joint) Jane Foster, Lego sweet mining, and Neil Buchan, Thank you; 4 Bob Murdoch, Bertie Bassett; 5, Jean MacKay, Skittles red heart; 6 Julie Catterall, Teddy bear’s picnic.

The overall league standings after five rounds are: 1 Alex Henderson, 44 points; 2 Neil Buchan, 35 points; 3 James Gunn, 30 points; 4 Jane Foster, 28 points; 5 Jean MacKay, 27 points.
