Wick Academy have stepped up their preparations for the next Highland League season by tying up another four players on contract extensions.

Midfielders Ryan Campbell and Jack Halliday along with forwards Craig Gunn and Jonah Martens have all committed their futures to the club.

The latest contract extensions follow on from four others – goalkeeper Gordon Clark, forward Alan Hughes and midfielders Ross Allan and Jack Henry – as manager Gary Manson continues to get his squad in place for the coming campaign and beyond.

“Once again I'm delighted to get the boys signed up," Manson said. "They have shown they can comfortably play at Highland League level but I feel they've only scratched the surface – there is a lot more to come from all four players, and I look forward to trying to get the best out of them.

"This continues what has been a good week for the club and we're not finished yet.”
