JAPPY - It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Ian, in his home with his daughter by his side on Saturday 14th June 2025, aged 80 years, of The Steading, Bettyhill. Beloved husband of the late Joan, much loved dad to Alison and Kim, loving Dada to Ramsay, Ava and baby Charleigh, a dear brother, uncle and friend. JAMIESON Peacefully, within Dunbar Hospital, Thurso, on Thursday, 12th June, 2025, Maureen, aged 62 years, of Karahm, Murkle, Thurso. Beloved wife of Mark, a loving mother to Gary and Ryan, a much loved daughter-in-law to Elise and sister-in-law to Kim, a very dear sister, aunt and friend to many. A service to celebrate Maureen's life will be held in Ormlie Lodge Service Rooms, Thurso, on Monday, 23rd June, commencing at 3pm. MURRAY James (Jim) died peacefully but unexpectedly, at home on Gwydyr Road, Llandudno, on Tuesday, 27th May, 2025, aged 92 years. Jim was an avid golfer at Maesdu Golf Club for 60 years. Jim was the loving husband of the late Sybil, much loved father and father-in-law to Keith and Angelika, beloved grandad to Vanessa and Fiona. Jim will be missed by all of his family, friends, neighbours and fellow golfers. Jim's funeral service will take place on Friday, 20th June, 2025, at 12.30pm, at St Hilary's Church; followed by a private family graveside service in Llanrhos Lawn Cemetery. SINCLAIR Suddenly, but peacefully, in her own home at Skaldister, Dunnet, with her niece and close friends by her side, Margaret (Margie) Sinclair (nee Primrose) passed away on Monday, 2nd June, 2025, after a bravely borne illness. Beloved wife of the late Iain Sinclair, a cherished aunt and a dear friend to many.
