Ortak takes honours at Thurso Golf Club's first sponsors' day event

A sponsors' day hosted by Thurso Golf Club was held as a thank-you to the 28 businesses which support the club's holes, facilities and open competitions.

A two-man Texas scramble included a team for every sponsor, some made up of the sponsors themselves and others with players representing them.

The competition was won by the Ortak team, represented by Andrew Main and Jordan Bain, with a score of 61, while Superclean of Thurso, represented by Alice Fidler and Steve Spargo, were second with 61.5 points, edging out The Comm's team of Scott and Jordan Youngson thanks to a better inward half.
