Gary Manson and Stewart Ross have been appointed as Wick Academy's new management team until the end of the Highland League season.
It follows the resignation of Tom McKenna at the end of last week. He had been in charge at Harmsworth Park since 2017 and led the team to a highly creditable seventh-place finish last season.
In a statement today, Academy said: "The club will take their time to consider all options during this period with the goal of having someone permanently in position for the start of pre-season."
Manson holds the club record for appearances, having played 662 competitive games since signing in August 2000. He remains a key player for the Scorries and scored his 50th goal this season.
Ross made 196 appearances for Academy, scoring 18 goals, and in recent years has played a big part in Wick Groats' success in the Caithness AFA league and in the Highland Amateur Cup.
