CASTLETOWN community council is looking for a village officer. The part-time post became vacant after the retiral of Andrew Ottaway.

The role involves cutting grass and helping to keep Castletown tidy. The funding for the job comes from Highland Council.

The village officer is employed over the summer months and is paid by the community council.

Members agreed to put a poster in the village notice board to advertise the vacancy and hopes to attract possible candidates for the job.
