Following a few postponements due to the weather, the biennial Thurso High School sponsored walk went ahead last Thursday. Some 350 first, second and third-year pupils along with staff walked the 10k Hill of Forss loop.

Pupils all enjoyed the walk, allowing them to socialise with one another while boosting their health and wellbeing by undertaking a lengthy period of exercise.

School staff said they were grateful for the care shown by drivers while the pupils were out on the road, and also acknowledged the help given by Thurso Rotary Club.
