Serious assault alleged

A YOUNG Caithness man appeared in private at Wick Sheriff Court on Friday in connection with a serious assault in Thurso. Mark Aitken, who is 21 and comes from Wick, made no plea and was released on bail.

He faces an allegation of a serious assault involving another male in Thurso on June 15.
