CHILDREN at Noss Primary have marked Remembrance Day by producing a series of colourful and creative memorial displays throughout the school.

Delighted staff have praised the “wonderful display” after the pupils worked hard to put them on show in numerous classrooms.

“One display was a collaborative piece of work involving the school’s wonderful dinner ladies and three of the classes,” said a school spokesperson.

“The display featured two soldier silhouettes that had been made from wood by one of the ladies.

“ The poppies for the display were created by P2Y, P4Y and P5B with help from some of the P7 house captains.

“Collaborative working within the school like this is fantastic, it brings out the school community spirit and plays a big part of the work towards our next Rights Respecting Schools award,” they added.
