Pair deny assaults in Thurso

A man is alleged to have been pulled from his car in Thurso, dragged to the ground, repeatedly punched, and kicked on his head.
It led to 23-year-olds Ewen Grant and Jordan Macgregor being charged with assaulting a man. The accused are said to have been acting with others at the time, Wick Sheriff Court was told last week.
Grant, of Achunabest, Reay, and Macgregor, who lives in Bayview Terrace, Thurso, are also accused of assaulting another man and woman.
Grant and Macgregor deny all the assaults, which are said to have occurred in Princes Street, Thurso on November 7, last year.
They will stand trial on January 24.
