Newie set to rock with four bands in one night

A feast of rock awaits revellers in Thurso this weekend.

Sucioperro, What the Blood Revealed, Farewell Singapore and Cactus & Cardigan are all hitting the Newmarket Bar on Traill Street on Saturday night for an epic night of music.

Headliners Sucioperro formed in 2002 and have previously toured with the likes of Biffy Clyro, Oceansize, Reuben, Hell Is For Heroes, and many more.

The group are celebrating their new record “Fused” with a tour of Scotland including the Newmarket gig.

As well as the new record which hit shelves earlier this month, 2012 marks the tenth anniversary of Sucioperro as a band, and sees them evolve from a three- piece to a five man set-up.

Last year, the band released their third album “The Heart String & How to Pull It” through Xtra Mile. Critical acclaim followed with Kerrang featuring the record in their top 100 albums of the year list.

Tickets cost £5 and the music starts at 8pm.
