Wick face Vale in second round

WICK Academy have been handed a tough draw in the second round of the Breedon Aggregates Highland League Cup.

The Scorries will be on the road to Banff to take on Deveronvale at Princess Royal Park on Saturday, March 17, at 3pm after being giving a bye in the first round.

If successful, they face another away tie to either Buckie Thistle, Strathspey Thistle or Nairn County in the quarter-final on Saturday, April 7, also at 3pm.

Fixtures:

First round – Strathspey Thistle v Nairn County; Inverurie Locos v Fraserburgh.

The ties are to be played on Saturday, March 3.

Second round – Huntly v Turriff United; Fort William v Formartine United; Lossiemouth v Inverurie Locos/Fraserburgh; Cove Rangers v Clachnacuddin; Keith v Brora Rangers; Buckie Thistle v Strathspey Thistle/Nairn County; Rothes v Forres Mechanics; Deveronvale v Wick Academy.

The ties are to be played on Saturday, March 17.
