Man denies dangerous driving at Wick industrial site

A driver is alleged to have caused damage after losing control of his car on the Wick Airport Industrial Estate, last month.

Kevin Grant (56) denied dangerous driving while three times the alcohol limit and attempting to pervert the course of justice when he appeared at Wick Sheriff Court on Tuesday.

He will stand trial on August 19.

The charges accuse him of failing to take a left-hand bend, on April 11, mounting a grass verge and colliding with a metal fence, two walls and a building and travelling down an embankment before coming to a rest. Grant, of Lochend, Barrock, also pleaded not guilty to attempting to flee from police officers.
