The deadline to submit photographs that could appear in the 2022 Caithness Calendar is fast approaching.

Readers of the John O’Groat Journal and Caithness Courier have until Friday, July 16, at 5pm to submit their images.

We are looking for pictures that show the county at its best across all four seasons.

From your entries, we’ll choose the 12 images that will be used to illustrate the calendar.

HOW TO ENTER:

Email your best shots as high-resolution jpg files (minimum 2MB), caption them with the location and send your name, email address and phone number to editor@nosn.co.uk with “Readers’ calendar competition” in the subject.

Entries must be submitted by 5pm on Friday, July 16.

By taking part, you’ll be in with a chance of having your photo included in the calendar and receiving a free copy of the final product, which will be on sale later this year.

Those whose pictures are selected will also receive a copy of this year’s Caithness photo book.

  • Don't forget, we're always keen to see your best pictures of the county for our regular Your Caithness feature. Email your high-resolution jpg files – along with your name, location and what's in the photo – to editor@nosn.co.uk marked Your Caithness.
