Our primary school teachers help shape the development of youngsters when they are just beginning to discover and explore the big, wide world beyond their own homes.

It is a responsibility indeed but so many of our primary school teachers meet that responsibility with great enthusiasm and kindness to ensure the learning environment they create for their young pupils is supportive and engaging as well as educational!

Highland Heroes celebrates those deemed top of the class with the primary school teacher of the year award.

The recipient will be a primary school teacher who has made a significant difference, beyond the normal expectations, to the learning experience of their pupils or found innovative ways to teach that helps pupils enjoy it and be successful.
