End-of-year prize-winners at Mount Pleasant Primary School

Prizes were presented to pupils for a range of achievements before the end of term at Mount Pleasant Primary School in Thurso.

Primary seven sports champions were Chloe Greig and Kody Munro.

The P7 pupils competed in a range of sporting activities in term four – including netball shoot, penalty shoot, shot put and a long-distance running race – earning points for first, second and third places.

These points were added to the points they received for their races on sports day.

Thor received the house team shield after earning the most points over the school year, while Harald won the shield for the sports day challenge – based on most points earned on sports day.

The school's overall Accelerated Reading winners for the year were Sophie Polson and Alexander Smith.
