Caithness distillery Ice and Fire selected for Unlocking Ambition programme
Caithness distillery Ice and Fire has won a place on a Scottish Enterprise support programme for ambitious entrepreneurs.
It is one of 31 companies from across Scotland to be selected in the 2021 Unlocking Ambition Challenge.
Latheronwheel-based Ice and Fire is looking to expand and will use the experience gained on the programme to further its business.
The Unlocking Ambition Challenge is a flagship entrepreneurial development fund, initiated by the First Minister and delivered by Scottish Enterprise, that supports ambitious entrepreneurs from across the country. They are chosen for their individual potential, the quality of their ideas and the contribution they can make to the environment, the economy and wider society.
The 31 entrepreneurial leaders selected to be part of the third Unlocking Ambition cohort will receive wrap-around support from Scottish Enterprise and partners. Each company will have access to the Unlocking Ambition Development Fund, business advisory support and an eight-month programme of executive education.

Jacqueline Black from Ice and Fire Distillery said: "I am absolutely delighted to be engaging with Scottish Enterprise on the programme and I can't wait to meet all of the winning businesses next week when the programme starts."
