Caithness businesses named as food and drink finalists

A Thurso cocktail bar and a bakery at Upper Gills have been shortlisted for one of the food and drink industry’s most prestigious awards.

Mr C’s Bar and Annie’s Bakery have been named as finalists in their respective categories in the Highlands and Islands Food and Drink Awards.

Simon Collier, owner of Mr C’s has been named as a finalist in the New Business section while Anne Body of Annie’s Bakery has been nominated for the Young Shining Star Award.

Both businesses will find out if they have won their categories at the awards ceremony at the Kingsmills Hotel, Inverness on Friday, October 24.
