Bumper response to Blythswood shoebox appeal

Thurso’s Mount Pleasant Primary School organised the collection of 89 filled shoeboxes for the Blythswood appeal. After making up the boxes, they were sorted, categorised and counted by the class. The pupils then took the boxes to the Blythswood lorry and loaded them on. All of the boxes will be making their way to Bulgaria soon and they will be opened by 89 very grateful recipients this Christmas. All the youngsters are pictured sitting on the back of the Blythswood lorry after having loaded all the packages on board.
