The speaker for the evening was Patsy MacAskill who gave a very informative talk on her five alpacas which she has had for five years.
She then showed us her beautiful crochet throws, a wonderful knitted jacket and several crochet toys made in natural colours from the alpaca fleeces.
With an expected lifespan of alpacas of around 25 years we expect to see lots more of Patsy’s lovely work.
Murkle WI's next meeting will be on April 17 at 7.30pm and will be a hands-on sewing evening lead by Debbi Mackay Celli to which new members and friend will be most welcome.
