Aaron’s of Wick buses withdrawn from some Caithness routes
A Caithness bus firm has told Highland Council that it cannot continue with a number of its school and public services.
The local authority said it had been told on Friday lunchtime that services provided by Aaron’s of Wick that require a full-size bus would no longer operate, with immediate effect.
Highland Council said it was working on finding replacement operators at very short notice in an effort to minimise disruption.
Replacement services from Dunnetts Transport have been sourced for the Reay-Thurso and Bower-Castletown-Thurso services.
