HALKIRK United will play their quarter-final North of Scotland Cup tie in Wick.

It was announced at the weekend that United have agreed with Clachnacuddin to play the tie at Harmsworth Park.

The ground was the scene of the club’s 2-1 victory over Wick Academy last Tuesday .

Two late goals from David Cowie and Paul Mackay earned a home draw against the Lilywhites who beat Golspie Sutherland 4-1 in the previous round.

The match has been arranged for Wednesday, August 17, with an 8pm kick off.

AJG Parcels North Cup quarter-finals, North section: Tuesday, August 9: Brora Rangers v Inverness Caledonian Thistle, Dudgeon Park, Brora, 7.30pm. Wednesday, August 17: Halkirk United v Clachnacuddin, Harmsworth Park, Wick, 8pm.

South section: Wednesday, August 10: Nairn County v Strathspey Thistle, Station Park, Nairn, 8pm; Rothes v Forres Mechanics, Mackessack Park, Rothes, 8pm.
