Wick Old Stagers move two points clear in rifle league after victory over Huntly

Round 14 of Caithness Small Bore Rifle Association's winter leagues had five shooters with the maximum score of 100 – D Bremner (Watten), B Young (Wick Old Stagers), R Campbell (Halkirk) and R Brown (Pentland) in Division One, and G Mackay (Watten) in Division Two.
Old Stagers' victory over Huntly in Division One saw the Wick club move two points clear of the bogey and three points clear of Huntly.
Watten "B" are five points clear of Halkirk "B" in Division Two, the Watten team having secured the winners' spot in round 13.
Keiss beat Division Three leaders Dingwall, allowing Dallas to cut the lead to one point with their win against Stirkoke "B".
Huntly "B" are winners of Division Four, three points clear of Lairg with one match remaining. Lairg moved into second place after Clach’s loss to Huntly.
In Division Five, Watten "C" are still eight points clear of Wick Old Stagers "C". Watten had secured first place in round 13 and they remain the only unbeaten team in the league.
Junior individual league Division One saw R Levack extend his lead at the top of the table to seven points after a victory over second-placed I Simpson. R Levack had secured the league in round eight with two matches remaining.
L Taylor from Westfield is now five points clear at the top of junior individual league Division Two, securing the title with one match remaining.

Pentland “A” 8 drew with the bogey (8). Individual scores – Pentland: R Brown 0, G Begg 2, P Richard 3, D Mowat 3.
