In the penultimate week of Wick and District Darts League fixtures, second division leaders Queen's lost to third-placed Seaforth ladies "B" and Dylan Gunn's Park took full advantage as they beat Lybster side Comm to go joint top.

Queen's have a better countback but if they slip up against Comm next week then Park have the easier-looking task against Camps ladies. But they can take nothing for granted as the Camps ladies – Sammy Troy, Heather Mackenzie, Jeanette Longstaffe and captain Jade Jones – finally got their first win, defeating Seaforth ladies.

Harper's "C" beat Queen's ladies but Sheona Campbell and Liz Ronaldson both lost 2-3, to Andy Cormack and Leslie Platt respectively. Claire Thain and Willie Ronaldson did win for the away side.

In Division One, Seaview had a brief scare as they found themselves 1-2 in the singles with Michael Sinclair beating Danny Hughes 3-0 and David Taylor having a 3-2 win against Stewart Tait.

But the Macgregors held them together and came out on top yet again. That is now played 15, won 15, for 105, against 15.

Victory over Castletown next week will seal it.

Seaforth beat Castletown Poachers and remain second. With Harper's "B" earning a creditable draw versus Smiddy "2", with Sid Davidson on fire for the Wick side, the Poachers are bottom on nine points.

Harper's "B" have 10 and they play the Poachers next week. Smiddy "3" also have 10 points going into their final fixture against Smiddy "2".
