David Simpson of the Queen's Hotel was the star player in the top-of-the-table clash against Raymond Gunn's Comm team from Lybster in Division Two of Wick and District Darts League.

The Wick side dominated in the singles, racing into a 4-0 lead, but the Comm players showed their experience and kept the score respectable at 5-3.

Kris Ronaldson helped Harper's "C" to a point against Harry Macbeath's Smiddy "4". Michael Newlands was best player on the night.

Seaforth won the ladies' battle against Queen's, while Dylan Gunn has the Park Hotel firing on all cylinders now after a shaky start. They lost only one leg to the Camps ladies.

The top game in Division One, between Castletown and Seaview, could not be played with both establishments closed for refurbishment. The fixture has been rearranged.
