John O'Groats side Seaview Hotel look to be cantering to the finish line in the first division of Wick and District Darts League.
They thumped Norseman 4-0 in the knockout cup quarter-finals and four days later demolished them 8-0 in the league. Kevin Macgregor hit a 14-dart leg in the cup tie, while in the league match he and son Marc had a 17-dart 601 pairs game.
Marc also hit a maximum and a 142 checkout.
This now means that Old Smiddy Inn, who sit in third place, cannot catch the leaders. Only the Seaforth have a remote chance.
James Howden, Stewart Tait, Marc Macgregor and captain Kevin Macgregor have practically played the same team all season. Danny Hughes, the Arrow from Harrow, is there if needed.
George Baker's Harper's side look like keeping their top-flight status after winning 7-1 against Smiddy "3".
The Castletown derby was drawn, while the Thrumster derby saw the experience of Old Smiddy Inn overcome Smiddy "2".
Next week it is competition time. The venue is the Seaforth Highlanders' Club as tournaments have been switched.
