Tom McKenna is the new manager of Wick Academy

WICK Academy have announced they have appointed Tom McKenna as the club's new manager on a two year contract.

His appointment was announced after the club's 5-1 victory over Rothes this afternoon.

McKenna arrives at Harmsworth Park having played at Rochdale, Airdrie, and Stenhousemuir and also played for Amu Zulu in the South African Premier League.

He has been involved with coaching the under 17 squad at Wick Academy and this season has been involved with the first team squad.

Prior to that he coached and managed in different capacities at Rochdale, Dundee University, Alloa and Clyde.
