Watten duo are pairs championship winners

Twenty-three teams took part in Caithness Indoor Bowling Association's pairs championship in Wick Assembly Rooms on Saturday.

In the final, Liam Swanson and Linda Mackay (Watten 2) defeated the Thurso RBL 2 team of Calum Elder and Kenny McLeod by 11-3 to take home the trophy.

Losing semi-finalists were Eric Larnach and Brian Harcus of Wick Indoor Bowling Club and Tom Wilkins and Doreen Cormack of Keiss.
