Walking football has arrived in Wick, allowing older adults – both male and female – to keep playing the game if, due to a lack of mobility or for any other reason, they are not able to play the traditional form of football.

The East Caithness Community Facility has arranged come-and-try events on Sunday afternoons in the hope of generating enough interest to start walking football competitions for teams of five.

Details of the next come-and-try session will be posted on the Wick Swimming Pool Facebook page.
