Thurso manager Michael Bremner hopes to have a few players back for Saturday's trip to face St Duthus in the North Caledonian League.

The Vikings had a free Saturday last weekend, following a 6-0 defeat in Orkney the previous week. Bremner himself played from the start in that game as there were so many absentees from his squad.

"We're looking a bit better than our last game versus Orkney, but really it can't be worse after going over with 10 men and me having to play all game," he said. "There's a few back so the squad is looking better, but still quite a lot missing.

"We're going down hoping to get something from the game. Both teams haven't started the season that well, so it's going to be a close battle."
