Reay Indoor Bowling Club held its first open event in nearly three years, with 29 teams from all over Caithness and north Sutherland contesting the Robbie Campbell Memorial Triples – honouring the club's first and longest-serving president to date.

Scrabster "2" and Forss "2" emerged from the pack to contest the final. Scrabster overcame Forss to become the winners.

Amy Campbell, granddaughter of Robbie, presented the trophies.

A club spokesperson said: "We wish to thank all those who took part for their generosity, and for two fantastic days of bowling."
