Top shots travelled from near and far to take part in the sharpshooter competition which traditionally brings Caithness Small Bore Rifle Association's open shoot to an end. The annual event, held at Wick Old Stagers' outdoor range at the riverside, always attracts competitors from throughout the country. This year shooters from the Borders, Edinburgh, Aberdeenshire and Inverness-shire joined local competitors to boost entries to more than 40 – well up on 2022.
