Top Scottish surfers head for Thurso

The contest, which is expected to attract contestants from all over the country, will take place on Saturday and Sunday.

While Thurso East is the preferred venue, weather and wave conditions may lead to it being switched elsewhere in the far north.

The Scottish Surfing Federation annual general meeting is being held in the Caithness Horizons centre in Thurso on Saturday. It will be followed by the post-competition function in the town’s Y-Not Bar and Grill.
