Thurso's Park Hotel became the first team to book their place in the Wick and District Darts League knockout finals night after overcoming Castletown Poachers of the first division 4-3.

The quartet of John Sadler, Willie Gunn, Alec Clark and captain Dylan Gunn then visited second division leaders Queen's and their better finishing saw them leave with maximum points.

Seaforth ladies "B" beat Harper's "C" and Comm did likewise against Queen's ladies to leave the Division Two title race wide open with Comm, Queen's and Park all on 17 points, although Queen's have played one game fewer. Seaforth ladies "B" are only a point adrift with 16 points.

Norseman's Willie McLean hit the highest outshot with 158 as they had an away win against Old Smiddy Inn in Division One and they moved into third place. Smiddy "3" completed the double away to Castletown.

Division One leaders Seaview whitewashed Harper's "B", while Smiddy"2" held second-placed Seaforth to a draw. The John O'Groats side have a one-point lead but crucially they have two games to be rearranged.

Maximums: George Baker (Harper's), Marc Macgregor (Seaview), Stewart Tait (Seaview), Steven Nicolson (Harper's "B"), Jordan Oag (Smiddy "2"), Aidan Sutherland (Norseman), Conor Trueman and Logan Moodie (both Smiddy "3").

Shortest recorded leg: Richard Thain (Old Smiddy Inn), 16 darts.

Ton-plus checkouts: Willie McLean (Norseman), 158; Sid Davidson (Harper's "B"), 136; Jordan Oag, Ryan Campbell (Smiddy "2"), 114 and 108; Jordan Oag (Smiddy "2"), 110; Raymond Gunn (Comm), 104; John Gunn (Harper's), 103; (Kevin Macgregor) Seaview, 101; Stewart Tait (Seaview), 100.
