Thurso surfing contest looking swell for boarders

THE top surfers from across Britain are heading to Caithness next week as the UK Pro Surf Tour returns to Thurso with a record entry of 85 participants.

Newly crowned European champion Jay Quinn from Wales is set to be one of the headline performers while last year’s men’s and women’s champions Reubyn Ash and Lucy Campbell are both defending their titles in one of the top surfing competitions in the country.
