Thurso stay top of NCL after win over Saints

THURSO are still top of the North Caledonian League after heading home with all three points with a 3-1 win at St Duthus.

Steven Morris put Thurso in front midway through the first half and doubled the Vikings advantage five minutes into the second half.

James McLean killed the game off in the 54th minute to make it 3-0 but St Duthus did pull one back through Craig Ross 10 minutes from time.

Meanwhile Halkirk United went down 3-0 to defending NCL champions Invergordon in Ross-shire.
