Thurso in seventh heaven as they go top of NCL

THURSO have moved to the top of the North Caledonian League after thrashing Inverness Athletic 7-1 at the Dammies.

Nigel Mackenzie scored a hat-trick with Steven Morris scoring twice along with Michael Petrie and Andrew Mackay also finding the net.

Meanwhile Halkirk United are rooted to the bottom of the table after losing 3-0 at St Duthus.

Liam Rostock scored twice for the Saints with Ken Morrison scoring inbetween.
