Young Ryan Campbell (Smiddy Two) also impressed, getting the better of Kevin Macgregor 3-2, but they had no answer to the Seaview’s strength in depth overall.

There was a win for Camps lady Sammy Troy 3-0 against Harper C’s captain Andy Cormack, while Kara Sutherland (Seaforth Ladies) lost her first game of the season to Comm Lybster captain Raymond Gunn.
