Caithness United's under-13 squad travelled across a choppy Pentland Firth on Sunday to play their Orcadian counterparts in three friendly matches.
There were games between players eligible for U12s and U13s, and finally one involving a mixture of both these age groups.
The trip proved very successful for Caithness youngsters, as they managed to avoid conceding any goals and scored a total of 10 between the three matches.
In the first game the Caithness U13s ran out 4-0 winners with goals from Lucas Reid (2), Kieran Macgregor and Lewis Swan.
The under-12s then drew 0-0, with the Caithness boys dominating possession but failing to convert any of their chances. Sam Shearer came closest with a thunderous shot that rebounded back off the crossbar.
