THE line up for this month’s Wick Masters has been confirmed after the final qualifying-spots were decided in a showdown at Harper’s Bar in Wick on Friday night.

Martin Nicolson won the final qualifying tournament to book his place in the showpiece event in Wick Assembly Rooms on February 17.

Kevin MacGregor also qualified after scoring the most points of the non-winners.

They join Legion players Nicky Denoon and Tam Mulraine along with Seaview’s Stewart Tait who won the previous three qualifiers. Also heading to the Masters are: PDC world number seven Dave Chisnall, world number nine Jelle Klassen, world number 10 Robert Thornton and three-time world champion John Part, together with wild card entries, Scottish international Craig Quinn, from East Stirling; Cameron Menzies, from Ayrshire; and Castletown thrower Barry Sutherland, from Tongue.

There will be four challenge matches at the event with Klassen taking on Marc MacGregor; Thornton playing George McPhee; Chisnall up against Jordan Oag; and Part locking horns with Scottish internationalist Lorraine Hyde.

Tickets are available from Harpers on 01955 604 399 and Davy Crowden on 07712 714 141.
