Small Bore Rifle Association league season kicks off
Just one shooter in the opening round of the Small Bore Rifle Association leagues had the maximum score, with D Simson of Wick Old Stagers returning the only 100.
Watten A are the early leaders in Division One by virtue of having a better aggregate than Huntly.
Stirkoke top the table in Division Two, ahead of Wick Old Stagers B and Westfield A – again thanks to a better aggregate with all three teams on two points.
Keiss are at the summit of Division Three ahead of Dingwall and Stirkoke B, while Halkirk C have the early advantage in Division Four over Huntly B and Lairg.
Nairn and Wick Old Stagers C are both chasing Watten C after the first matches in Division Five.
