Simpsons hit maximum scores for Wick Old Stagers in winter league

Round eight of Caithness Small Bore Rifle Association's winter league had only two shooters with the maximum score of 100 – H Simpson and D Simpson, both from Wick Old Stagers, in Division One.
There was accurate shooting in divisions two, three and four with 99 being the maximum score.
The bogey moved back to the top of the Division One table after Huntly "A" fell short. The nearest Caithness team is Wick Old Stagers "A", three points behind the bogey score.
Watten "B" consolidated their place at the top of Division Two with a good win over Halkirk "B", while Old Stagers "B" drew with the bogey.
Dingwall’s loss to Dallas in Division Three allowed Keiss to reduce the gap to two points.
Lairg still lead the way in Division Four, two points clear of Huntly "B".
In Division Five, Watten "C" continued their unbeaten run with a victory over Old Stagers "C". This increases the gap to four points over the Wick team.
The junior individual leagues have been suspended over the January break and will return with round eight, due on February 6.
