The team, which featured Thurso surfers Mark Boyd and Sheila Finlayson along with Scottish longboard champion Chris Clarke from Dunnet, had high hopes it could make a real impact in Casablanca.

However in the 14 team competition, they finished in 12th place which put them only ahead of Norway and Denmark.

The competition was won by France with Spain claiming silver and the Channel Islands winning bronze.
